Welcome to the Polar Escape! A newly remodeled 3300+ sq ft, one story house with unobstructed bay view. It is a one-of-the-kind water-front house nested in a heavily wooded area with a newly build 450 ft fishing pier. It is a place to boost your desire to the tranquility of the country life style.
Once you’ve arrive to this property, you are immediately greeted with the beautiful St. Charles Bay. The moment you step into the house, the open concept layout will bring the bay view right to you no matter where you choose to sit. The property is senior & kids friendly with NO STAIRS!!
The sparkling clear swimming pool and the shaded kids playground will call your name on a hot summer day. You can choose to swing in the hammock, relax in a lounge chair or float in the swimming pool. A nice outdoor bar with all your favorite drinks will enhance your day in paradise.
A newly built 450 ft private pier is just across the front yard for fishing, crabbing and dolphin watching. Fishing lights and cleaning station are provided for your convenience. Stairs at the T-head provides the easy in and out.
Family and friends can come together in the spacious kitchen/dinning/living areas which is around 1000 sq ft. There are plenty of seating options, including bar seating, a 10-seat dining table, a sofa table with stools and a plushy contemporary sectional set. A large TV with sound bar is conveniently located in the living room area for soft background music or a family movie night.
The center of the house contains a gourmet kitchen with plenty of granite countertop areas, stainless steel appliances, and gas cook-top. It never fails that the kitchen is the main gathering spot in the family vacation. Stepping inside the hidden pantry, you will find extra cooking essentials, including microwave oven, slow cookers, paper goods, and more for your cooking pleasure. This area can easily accommodate many cooks for any large family meal or event.
The game room plus kids movie corner, is adjacent to the living area. There are a full-size pool table as well as a kids football/pool table, air hockey table and ton of board games to entertain the young fellows. Should you choose to have a peaceful moment, the well-equipped barn-door would do the magic.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, night stand, and dresser. A plushy setting next to the window is a perfect place for meditation, reading or simply vegetating by the soothing bay-view. The adjacent bathroom has double vanities and a stand alone shower area with dual shower heads. The built-in shower bench is provided for seniors comfort. The barn door connecting the master bedroom and the living area adds the extra privacy and tranquility to your stay.
The 2nd bedroom is equipped with a queen size bed, night stands and a recliner. The uninterrupted bay view is right there whenever you would like to take a break. The 3rd bedroom has a full size bunk bed and a futon to accommodate more visitors. The shared roomy bathroom is located between those 2 bedrooms with a standing shower.
The 4th bedroom is for kids fun. There are 4 twin beds with lots of toys/books. The beach décor brings the ocean temptation into the room.

Summary: The house was spacious! We loved the game room and pool. The cleaning was a bit of a let down. The see through curtains in living area amd the master bath was uncomfortable especially at night. We also noticed quiet a few people stop and use the pier because the door was not secure.

Summary: Check in was a breeze, the house was awesome, everything was clean. The pool was clean and ready for swimming! We had no issues, with anything. Everyone from all our different age ranges were happy! We will stay again!! Already planning another trip! Great rental!!!

Summary: This is our second time staying here. Our entire family had an amazing time. Fishing was great, pool amazing and house is so large (fully stocked with everything you need). Host is more than amazing, she is quick to respond with any needs that may arise. We are already planning for next year. Highly recommend this place. Very quiet neighborhood.

Summary: This house was amazing and big enough for 6 adults and 6 children along with 3 dogs. The kitchen had everything we needed and more and was large enough for several to cook at a time. We will be going back

Summary: This was the second time that we have been in this wonderful home! There is plenty of room for everyone! Our grandson took his first steps last year and caught his first fish this year! There are deer that wander through the property in the evening. The host was very attentive to every request or question we had! There was an issue with a tropical storm that interrupted our trip plans but the host was very responsive, and adjusted our payment. We will be back next year with our second grandchild!
